Kieran Beville is an Irish poet, writer, and visual artist with a long-standing engagement in literature, art, and cultural criticism. He was a tutor at University College Cork and teacher of English and History and later serving as Professor of Intercultural Studies at Tyndale Theological Seminary in Amsterdam. His career has taken him across Europe, the Middle East, and India, where he has worked in teaching and leadership training across cultural and ideological divides. He has published widely in respected journals, magazines, and anthologies, and is the author of several books, including six volumes of poetry. Alongside his writing, he also works in painting, exploring the relationship between image, meaning, and interpretation.
